Shortly after the photo was taken the mist turned into heavy drizzle and I draped my gloves over the camera and lens to keep as much of the water off them as possible.

I rather like the way the bands of cloud echo the line of the shoreline leading to a vanishing point on the horizon on the left side of the frame.

Taken two Sunday’s ago when I put together a small back to basics kit consisting of a mirrorless Sony camera and four manual focus prime lenses. I used the kit for everything I photographed during the day. This shot was taken with the 35mm standard lens.
